Day 5 ....a Harmonious Day

On Day 5 (Friday)  we had the honor to visit Harmony House (Toby's Foster home) and his deaf school.  We finally got to meet Toby at his home.   What a joy it was to be in the place that we only dreamed about seeing.  We saw the children there and gave them Christmas gifts...as well as to the nannies.  We are so blessed that Toby was in a  loving Christian atmosphere during the past 2 years.  There were several children there that are in need of home.  One of the older boys asked the director  "When is my family coming?"   Our prayer is that someone will adopt him very soon..  I got to do a little home decorating  (can't stay away from doing that...)   I put an ASL vinyl decal sign ( "I love you") on the wall so all the children could see that you can love in any language...  They were all signing it as we left.  Toby is pointing at it in the last picture. We were touched and blessed on this day.

  2. Following your journey every day. I'm so thankful you loved on our Emily Hope and told her we were coming. Heavy, heavy heart for Lance and the others. Sigh. God is good and faithful and will work it out to His glory... somehow. Love y'all!

  3. Thrilled and thankful to be able to see your blogs now and follow along on your "blessed journey" to Toby in China. All of your family pictures are so wonderful; cute, happy; joyful; thankful...... I know I could add many more adjectives. ~ This is a "once in a lifetime experience" for your family. Praise the Lord.

  5. Just 10 months ago we stood in the very same place, Harmony House...what an amazing place of happiness in our children's lives that have been affected by abandonment and sadness. So happy to see a new picture of Lance and can't wait to see his forever momma standing in the same place. Can't wait to hear how your son blooms and adjusts with Christ's love being shown to him daily!
