Let the Paperwork begin!

Well, we got a call today that we have an appointment for orientation for the Home study on Friday.  The social worker is planning to give us a lot of paperwork and things to do.  I have already filled out a lot of papers, but really it hasn't begun until Friday.  Pray for the process to go faster than we expect.  The sooner we get our little guy the better it will be for him.... and us too. (:

  1. You don't know me, but a friend of mine in GA sent me your link. My husband and I are in the same position you are with adoption. We were accepted in September and are in phase 2 of the process to adopt a medical needs baby from China. Unlike you, we do not have a match as of yet. We are in the paperwork (dossier) process. I was truly blessed to read your testimony. We are both 41 and have a son, age 20. Then three girls ages 18, 17 & 16. God laid China on my heart about 11 years ago and money was always a hindrance as well as our lives were crazy. My husband is a Pastor and life just was never stable. This past summer God truly began to lay it on our hearts as something that we HAD to do. We don't know how God is going to accomplish this in our lives but He has provided almost $6,000 in just a few months so we know "Faithful is He who calls, who will also do it" :-) I just wanted to write and tell you what a blessing it was to read your blog. We started a blog "adoptiontheheartbeatofGod@blogspot.com" I didn't realize when I made that title that it was the link to the site.. yikes!! (kind of long:-) ) Anyway, sorry to ramble but was excited to hear about someone else who is "with us". May God bless you!!!!! Can't wait to see your calling come to live with you :-) (OH, and your name "Faile" - its ok, we've been told thatour name means "Evil".. oops :-)

    1. It is nice to meet you Robin! Thank you for sharing your story. Please keep me updated on your progress. If God calls us to do this, then obeying and trusting Him is all we can do. We will let him do the rest! God bless you!
